Our newly built, rustic lodge features two queen and four single beds, comfortably sleeping eight people. Nestled right on the edge of the Gander river, you can relax and enjoy the view after a day on the water.

LOCATED IN THE HEART OF CENTRAL NEWFOUNDLAND

There are few angling destinations in the world that rival Newfoundland and Labrador. Here you’ll find pristine rivers set against a rugged landscape, plenty of breathing room, and an abundance of trophy-sized fish. Newfoundland has over 60% of North America’s best Atlantic salmon rivers, with some having annual runs of up to 30,000 fish. Record breaking runs of over 45,000 fish have hit our river system in the past couple of years. Here at White Cliff Lodge we promote catch and release of Atlantic Salmon. It is important that we practice conservation so that we can pass on the fly fishing tradition to all generations.

Come stand in our cool, clear waters – some that have never felt the cast of a line – and wait for the big one to test your skills against a real fighter.

Angling season runs from June to September with fall angling (catch and release only) up to October.
